Premier Inc. - Charlotte, NC

Premier, Inc. is a leading technology-driven healthcare improvement company based in Charlotte, North Carolina that has evolved from its origins as a hospital buying group into a major healthcare technology platform. The company operates on a massive scale, uniting more than 4,350 hospitals and approximately 300,000 other providers and organizations while providing solutions to two-thirds of all healthcare providers in the U.S.

Premier's business model centers on enabling healthcare organizations with cutting-edge data, technology, advisory services, and group purchasing solutions. The company helps hospitals and healthcare systems improve performance through cost savings achieved via bulk purchasing, data analytics and benchmarking, sharing of clinical best practices, supply chain optimization, and strategic advisory services. This positions Premier as a critical infrastructure player in the U.S. healthcare system, making your creative work there particularly significant given the company's broad impact on healthcare delivery nationwide.

My first 2 years at Premier Inc. were spent as a senior designer and after getting promoted I spent my last 2 years as Manager, Design, Art Direction.

Premier Inc. Investor Day 2021

Premier's Investor Day 2021 was a pivotal moment for the company—an opportunity to showcase strategic vision, financial performance, and technological innovation to key stakeholders and investors. As the lead art director for this high-stakes event, I was responsible for creating a cohesive visual experience that would reinforce Premier's market position and growth trajectory.

The challenge was substantial: design and execute a visually immersive experience that would engage investors, analysts, and executive leadership while communicating complex healthcare technology concepts with clarity and impact. Every element needed to reflect Premier's sophisticated brand positioning and support the company's strategic messaging.

My approach integrated multiple design disciplines:

Environmental Design & Visual Strategy: I orchestrated a comprehensive visual ecosystem spanning stage graphics, video content, digital media walls, and LED pixel mapping that created a seamless, professional atmosphere worthy of Premier's NASDAQ presence.

Executive Presentation Design: Collaborated directly with C-suite executives to craft presentation materials that translated complex financial data and strategic initiatives into compelling, investor-friendly narratives.

Brand Experience Integration: Ensured every touchpoint—from entry signage to speaker backdrop graphics—reinforced Premier's brand identity and market leadership in healthcare technology.

Technical Execution: Managed the intricate coordination of LED pixel mapping, video content, and print materials to create a polished, high-end experience that met the expectations of institutional investors and financial analysts.

This project required not just creative vision but strategic thinking about how design could support business objectives. The visual experience needed to inspire confidence in Premier's leadership team while communicating the company's innovation and market opportunity. It was an exercise in using design as a business tool—creating an environment where complex healthcare technology concepts became accessible and compelling to financial stakeholders.

The successful execution of this investor event contributed to Premier's continued market confidence and stakeholder engagement during a critical period of company growth.
